Fandom DNW: Recursion

We get such a small snapshot of the world and characters of Transistor, that there are so many stories left to tell! I'm a total sucker for character backstories, and I love getting glimpses into what their personal lives must have been like. I'm also very interested in Cloudbank society: how it worked, where it faltered, who it privileged and who it disenfranchised. Boxer's existence alone hints at socioeconomic disparity in this supposed utopia, and I'm curious to see how the characters occupied their respective places in this society, and how it influenced their opportunities, choices, and personal outlooks.

I love the atmosphere and tension in this game, and that Aya is a heroine of circumstance, rather than choice, but nonetheless rises to the challenge for the sake of the world. And even though she must head into danger alone, she is never without support, if only of the emotional/spiritual variety.

I love this gentle anime that pulls you in with cute slice-of-life episodes, before hitting you with a truckload of emotions. Whether you want to continue the slice-of-life angle or explore some of the strong emotions and themes of the show, I'd just be happy to see these characters again.

Witch Hunter Robin

Fandom DNW: Any hint of romantic or sexual attraction between the characters. As much as I like pining, I'd rather not see it among these pairs, thanks.

This was the first anime I seriously followed, and I love the atmosphere and mystery of it, especially the constant guessing at who was actually on Robin's side. I equally enjoy the case-by-case nature of the first half of the show and the more continuous narrative of the second half, so feel free to set your fic anywhere in this timeline, or even post-canon, to find out where these characters ended up.

My favorite Final Fantasy! I love its characters and its world, and particularly the concepts of sorceresses and succession, and the relationships that develop around that.

I love the lore in this game, and how it imbues the daily life of all Spirans, and drives Summoners to make the ultimate sacrifice on the people's behalf. Growing up in such a world definitely shapes the characters' views and motivations, and colors their relationships with both melancholy and hope.
