Challenge #13 - In your own space, tell us about 3 fandom resources you use or enjoy.

1) Fantasy Name Generators - An amazing site, and much more than the name suggests.  Yes, it has character and place name generators, but it also has concept generators, description generators, story prompt generators, as well as name generators for everything from the afterlife to wrestling moves.  For fanfic, in particular, the Pop Culture section is invaluable, as it provides name generators based on the naming conventions in various fictional universes, such as Harry Potter, The Legend of Zelda and Game of Thrones, among many others.  I've found it very useful, but a word of caution: it can be very easy to get sidetracked just by poking around different generators! ;)

2) The wikis on Fandom.com - Great for verifying little details about characters or plots, and, especially for video game fandoms, much quicker than scrolling through a Let's Play for a snippet of basic character info.

3) Since I've taken to dabbling in fanart, I've been on the lookout for references and tutorials, and while I'm sure there are plenty of great and accessible guides out there, I've settled on the Christopher Hart books at the moment.  The instructions and figures are clear and easy for me to understand, and--perhaps most importantly--not intimidating.  Perfect for a beginner like myself. :)
