Tagma by ovely - An absolutely charming missing-scene fic featuring Kimahri and set during the party's trek through Macalania Woods. The characterization and dialogue are spot-on, to the point where I could practically hear the lines spoken in the VAs' voices. A bittersweet trip down memory lane for Kimahri and Yuna, and later, for Kimahri and Auron. (Also, it ties really nicely into the sidequest for Kimahri's Celestial Weapon. Also-also: Kimahri covered in butterflies! 💕)
From Rare Pairs Exchange:
Discoveries Uncovered by Galadriel1010 - Another fill for my beloved Archaeologist/Goddess prompt, this time with twist. This fic is downright sensual, from its lush details down to the interactions between the pair, all carried along on beautiful prose. Truly a treat for the senses.
Orders For Relaxation by RedCoyote - Rinoa pulls some strings with Squall, Xu, and Dr. Kadowaki, and gets an official order for Quistis to take a step back from work and enjoy a relaxing picnic on the Balamb coast. A sweet little fic featuring relaxed Quistis, homemade cookies, and a playful (and hungry!) Angelo.
From Every Woman Exchange:
Change of Pace by classysleuth - A canon-divergence fic in which Emilia leaves Gradius to pursue the Joker on her own terms, with a little help from two women she met at Trinity Base, Asellus and White Rose. The fic looks into Emilia's background with Ren, as well as her relationship with the other women in Gradius, as she outlines her plan to her new sisters-in-arms. A refreshing change of pace, seeing Emilia finally have agency of her own.

For Femslash Kink:
in the crooks of your body i find my religion by epimetheon (5,538 words; rated E) - Sasha discovers a temple, even though it shouldn't be possible. Then the Goddess of the temple discovers her. It's been such a long time since she's last been worshipped.
Eeee! I got my archaeologist/goddess smut after all! I really loved the lush description throughout this fic, and the sex scene is lovingly detailed and well-paced, with a toe-curling-good finish. ;D
Wants & Desires by wimblydonner (3,379 words; rated E) - Yuna knows what she wants. It's just a matter of asking for it.
A gentle, intimate encounter between Yuna and Lulu, in which Yuna works up the courage to ask for what she wants, and Lulu helps guide her along. The characters are spot-on, and I loved the bond between them, especially how Lulu seems to understand Yuna even better than Yuna understands herself.
For Rarest of Rare:
Praying for Tomorrow by Wallwalker (1,383 words; rated T) - Luzzu can't give up his prayers. Lulu understands.
A lovely rumination on identity and faith in a changing world. What does one do when their god is revealed to be a sham? What does that make of the sacrifices made in the name of its religion? I love the maturity and understanding evident in Lulu and Luzzu's relationship here, and how the news of New Yevon inspires both hope and wariness in them. A wonderful read.
