"In Circles" fanimatic by sasharnie - A lyric video for the track "In Circles" from Transistor, that follows Sybil's storyline, from infatuation through obsession and jealousy, and finally into madness. Interspersing her descent with images of Red and Boxer happy together creates a powerful contrast that shows just how low Sybil had sunk even before she was processed. The pairing of the music and images is haunting, and Sybil's final glimpse of Red is downright chilling.
I love it!
"The Chosen One" by HamsterMasterSamster - A Final Fantasy VIII one-shot fanfic that follows Zell back to Balamb after the orphanage flashback at Trabia Garden. Disoriented by the realization that he was adopted, he returns home to discuss the matter with Ma Dincht, but instead, realizes just how lucky he was to be chosen by her. Both Zell and Ma Dincht are written well, and their conversation feels very natural. A lovely story that moved me to tears.
"Final Fantasy 8 fanart" by CloudPillowArt - Don't let the generic title fool you, this picture is anything but! It's a take on dark!Rinoa, and her faithful Knight, Squall. Having succumbed to the dark side of her sorceress powers, Rinoa sports a slinky dress, black wings, and an impressive set of horns. Meanwhile, Squall assumes a battle stance before her, his eyes glowing yellow, suggesting that he is now under Rinoa's control.
I'm usually not a fan of this potential outcome for Squinoa, but this picture is so deliciously dark, it's hard to resist (and it really fires up my imagination for fics)!
Animal Crossing TV Series Fan Teaser - This is quite the tease! Lovely animation showing Isabelle preparing for another day at Resident Services. If only this really was a TV series! I definitely would watch it! :D
