Weekly Writing Update

deemoyzaLast update of the year! While this one is definitely nowhere near as impressive as last week's, it does include the completion of my contribution to the Supergiant Secret Santa exchange on Tumblr. While that story was, admittedly, not my best work (as I said last week, I forgot how hard it was to write straight-up fluff), my recipient really liked it, and that's what's important. (It was also pretty fun to write, though I don't think I captured the characters' personalities as well as I have in previous fics.)
I really, really wanted to knock out the last of a group of fics for a Tumblr meme that I posted in April before the end of the year, but that looks increasingly out of the question.We'll see, maybe I'll get a last-minute burst of creativity; if I don't, it's on my to-do list for January. I did it, I did it! :D
Well, then, there's not a whole lot left except for the stats!
Total words written this week: 2,244 (for "The Flowers of the Afternoon")
Total words written this year: 96,371
Not bad. Not bad at all. :)
