40 Writing Questions - Questions 2 and 3

Whoops, I fell off the posting wagon! Let's get back on with a two-for today, shall we?

2. Anything that you’d like to write but feel like you’re unable to?

Not really. I like to think that, if I want to write something badly enough, I'll find a way to do it. It's just a matter of gathering the guts and confidence to give it a go, which, unfortunately, is nowhere near as easy as it sounds!

3. How would you describe your writing style?

Hmm, I'm not sure. Conversational? Accessible? I try to keep my language clean and simple, for the most part, so that when I do get elaborate, it really shines. And when it comes to fanfic, I try my best to match my style to that of the canon material, particularly if the canon material is heavily text-based and/or stylized.

I know! It's such an easy interface to use, you'd think it would be inducive to daily posts! I joined DW because I had so desperately wanted a LiveJournal back in the day but didn't have the guts to make one, but now that I have a nice little journal with cute mood themes, it just collects digital dust. :/

And regarding question two, it's simply how I operate. If I want to do something badly enough, I'll find a way to. That hasn't always been a good thing, but more often than not, it works out okay. ;)
