First Lines Meme

deemoyzaI've been seeing the First Lines Meme making the rounds on my Network page again, and because I am basically an ego with legs who never misses a chance to blather about her writing, I figured, why not? ;)
And if anyone feels like swiping this meme, go right ahead! That's what memes are all about, Charlie Brown. :D

And there they are! Hmm, I don't really see any patterns in these, other than that most of them start with a thought or action from one of the main characters. I guess I like to dive right into the story.
As for which one I like best...that's tough. I really like the ones from "Morning," "Keep Reading," "Snowbird," and "Famous Red Overcoat," and I can't decide among them. So, we'll call it a four-way tie for my favorite. :D And once again, if anyone else feels like doing this, go right ahead and swipe this meme, that's what it's here for!
