deemoyzaFiddling with Neocities again. It's a shot of nostalgia and a fun little challenge, since my HTML skills are very basic (and don't even get me started on my cluelessness with CSS). Thank goodness for online tutorials!
My bigger struggle with the site, though, is deciding on its aesthetic. I'm trying to strike a balance between early-2000s internet aesthetic and accessibility, especially since my own eyes aren't nearly what they were back in my twenties. Basically, you can be sure there won't be sparkly text or wildly spinning gifs on there. XD I feel like the text boxes and menu buttons skew a little bit more recent, but my main goal here is readability. (That reminds me, I need a 'Home' button!)

As for content, it will just be another regurgitation of what I have scattered about online right now--writing. A selection of fanfic, some original fiction, any my (currently, two) poems. Yes, I am stuck in a creative rut. Any suggestions on something else I can add to differentiate it from my Dreamwidth/AO3?
Anyway, it's a nice diversion while I chip away at my current writer's block, with the added benefit of feeling like I've learned and done something with my time.
