Weekly Writing Update

deemoyzaMy Seasons of Drabbles assignment is out of control! Four triple-drabble chapters, and six or seven more to go. I hadn't intended to write so much, but my recipient's prompt brought such a fun new angle to the fandom and characters that I'd never considered, and I've been having a blast writing it. :D I only hope they feel the same about reading the finished product.
Press Start work reveals happened last Friday, and I received such a lovely fic that I'm eager to share here once creators are revealed. I got some great comments on my assignment, as well, and I am both relieved and overjoyed. I cut it far too close this year, but I'm really proud that I was able to execute my vision well, to my standards and to the readers' enjoyment. And there are quite a few other fics in the collection that I want to read eventually (how did I not know about AO3's "Mark for Later" option until a month ago?!), so I've got to carve out some time for that.
A more calmly productive week, compared to the past few. I am slowly recuperating from those, while also brewing a few more ideas for next month, because I simply never learn.
