Weekly Writing Update

deemoyza- Added a little bit more than 1k to my Rarepair Exchange fic. I'm cutting it close, but it will get done!
That's it for the past week. For the past few days, I felt as if I was in some sort of haze. Like, not only was I unable to concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes at a time, but I also don't remember much of what happened. It's strange. I wager it was a touch of depression, plus a simple case of being overloaded with small, mundane errands that nevertheless take up a significant chunk of time.
And wind. Three days in a row of 20+ mph sustained winds (some gusts into the 50s), and several more days of just enough breeze to kick up all the dust and pollen and send my sinuses into a frenzy.
Anyway, I've been more productive and alert today than I've been for the past week, so I'm hoping that will continue, and I'll have more writing to report next Wednesday. Until then! :)

I completely get that :\ our minds can act in strange ways and it's really frustrating when you want to create, but your depression (or whatever is flipping switches up there) is all like, "Nah, let's not." Hope that haze clears up sooner than later and good luck with your rarepair fic! *flails pompoms*

Date: 2021-04-30 02:44 am (UTC)And thanks so much for the encouragement! As for the haze, it's starting to clear, thank goodness. I managed to finish a rough draft of my assignment today. It's not the best thing I've written, but it's fun and complete, nonetheless! :)
