I remember seeing this challenge in the Snowflake Challenge comments, but I can't seem to find it at the moment. I wanted to complete it back then, but I didn't have time to skim through my pictures for one I really enjoyed.
Anyway, the challenge was to post a picture of the outdoors that I took. It didn't say it had to be recent, so have one from a few winters ago that I really like:

Date: 2021-01-29 11:07 pm (UTC)I grew up in southwestern Arizona, where the nearest mountain range is relatively small (I think it peaks around 3000 ft), so mountains like this are fairly new to me, as well.
Apart from their aesthetic, I'm also endlessly amused that these mountains justify owning ski equipment in the desert. XD
