Weekly Writing Update

deemoyzaWhere did the week go? More importantly, where did the weekend go? My glorious holiday weekend was lost in a jumble of errands, appointments, and decorating. I did not get any writing done during that time. :( But hey, at least my Christmas tree is finally finished! And in the kind of year this has been, that does take precedence over the production of words.
I'm still a bit frazzled, frankly, but with the big decorating tasks out of the way, and appointments taken care of for the next few weeks, I'm looking forward to settling back down for a while.
I did manage to sneak in under the wire with some writing this week. 2.7k words of ridiculousness for a challenge on Tumblr. Not my best work, admittedly, but it did push me over my (modified) 75k GYWO goal for the year, so, yay!
Hooray for small victories! :D
