Vampire showgirl

That the classic Vegas showgirl is a thing of the past (the last revue closed some years ago; now you only see dancers in classic costumes with big headpieces in promotional campaigns, or as buskers on the Strip) adds another delightfully spooky element to this. This woman is a remnant of a bygone era, an icon who no longer has a place. Her old haunts are literally that, and her stomping grounds have become her hunting grounds, in a search for immortality, or simply, relevance.
(Unrelated, but she's also got a damn fine body. Look at those back muscles! With headpieces weighing up to twenty pounds, these dancers had to be strong.)
Of course I'm reading too much into this, but I'm happy to. This definitely sparked some appropriately spooky story ideas in my mind.
