Weekly Writing Update

Another 10k week, thanks to my last-minute scramble to finish my Chocolate Box fic.  It is finished, just in need of an editing pass, and perhaps a better title if I can think of one before Saturday night.   

- The Chocolate Box fic came out to 5.3k words.  I enjoyed writing it, and especially enjoyed revisiting a piece of media I haven't consumed in a few years.  I just hope I got the characters' voices right.  I think I did.

- I wrote a little fic for the Final Fantasy Kiss Battle that's going on.  Not my usual pairing for FF8, but it actually felt really right. :)

- I'm counting my contributions to the Three-Sentence Ficathon, though they technically were written last week, because their impact on my weekly total was minimal, less than 500 words combined.

- I also desperately wanted to write a Chocolate Box treat for a couple of original prompts, and I got 3k words into one when I realized it just wasn't working, and I shouldn't push myself too hard.  I can't get either of them done by reveals, but maybe I can revise and complete them later and just gift them out of the blue.  They really are intriguing prompts!

- (Wow, bullet points really help me organize my thoughts.  I have no idea why I've done the wall of text up until now.)
