Weekly Writing Update
Jan. 15th, 2020 01:08 pmJanuary has been a Thing. I'm not sure how else to describe it. Between a host of little annoyances (who loses a fuel door on the road, for goodness' sake?!) and troubling news concerning a family friend, I haven't written very much at all. I did a catch-up on my "Daily" Descriptions, and promptly fell behind again. I've also been trying to write a story for a prompt (deadline: Friday), which was supposed to be a stupid saccharine scene about rainy-night smoochies but somehow got out of hand, and now I'm questioning the logistics of a world that doesn't even exist.
So, yeah.
Weekly Writing Stats:
Total words written: 609 D:
Original Fiction: 609 (for Daily Descriptions)
Fanfiction: 0
Percentage breakdown: 100% Original Fiction, 0% Fanfiction
Here's hoping for a better week.

Date: 2020-01-16 07:05 pm (UTC)January has also been A Thing for me, too >:\ rude! Also I feel you on scenes blowing up into things you didn't prepare for. Then again, that's kind of the story of my life as a writer!

Date: 2020-01-16 08:54 pm (UTC)January has always been a "blah" month for me, but it seems strangely vicious this year. Sorry to hear it's been A Thing for you too. But at least it's halfway over, so yay, for that! :D
I am really feeling your icon at the moment! XD One of my biggest problems is that my scenes tend to blow up backwards. Like, I'll have a nice scene, or even a perfectly decent one-shot, but think, "No, this needs more context," and end up with about five or six more chapters. The creative process sure is an adventure! :)
