A sweet, funny story about a woman looking for love, finding it accidentally, and dodging the biggest bullet of a blind date. And the bartender's voice...ooh, HEL-LO! (Also also: "It could do with a female touch." "That's not the only thing." *swoon!*)

"The Legend of Pipi" (Warning for language and blood)

Darkly humorous tale of a cat with a single functioning brain cell on his quest to save the princess. Pipi may not have smarts, but dammit, this little dude knows what he wants! ;)

Moving from darkly humorous to just plain dark. After losing her husband in a robbery, a woman is driven by vengeance, to the point of becoming the very thing she hates.

A retired bounty hunter faces questions from his daughter about his past. I particularly enjoyed how the film moved between the bounty hunter's flashbacks to his last job, and his gentle diversion tactic of teaching his daughter how to cook.

Moving on to something sweet and gentle. A mouse who dreams of flying rescues an injured robin and nurses them back to health.

Based on a Finnish folk tale of how the northern lights came to be, this is a beautiful and heartwarming tale. "Whoever said you could only be a star?" There's a place for everyone. Also, the garbled voices of the Moon and the animals gave me strong Okami vibes, and I love it!
