Weekly-ish Writing Update

deemoyzaI got the first draft of my Femslash Ex assignment done. I am...not thrilled with it. I got a super-cute prompt, but I just can't seem to do it justice. It feels rushed, but I honestly didn't know what more to do with these characters unless I let this story spiral out of control. As it stands, it's 6k words over two chapters, and I really didn't want these characters to overstay their welcome. On the other hand, I have no idea how their relationship developed, because it seems that right now, my brain does not understand that kind of stuff. :/
Yeah, I'm a real piece of work when it comes to relationships, fictional and real.
Anyhow, I'll have a week to make edits and maybe clarify some stuff, but I'm just glad I didn't default again. I know I can write these stories, it's just that my focus has been less than stellar for way too long.
Oh well. At least I got something done! 🎉 Let's celebrate the small victories!!! 🎉
