For this year, I had initially signed up for the 150k-word goal, but gratefully availed myself of the opportunity to modify that goal in light of The Everything. I went down to 75k, and I just hit that goal at the beginning of this month. Though I didn't participate as much as I could have, I did enjoy the challenges (Yahtzee and 7 Days, 7 Stories were my favorites), and I wanted do it again. So, I signed up for a habit pledge, this year: 120 days.

I noticed that, even though my word output was far less than 2019's whopping 200k+, my actual amount of projects completed or worked-on is nearly the same. I also seemed to average about 8 writing days per month this year, so the 120 days in 2021 seems like a reasonable goal.

To anyone else signing up for GYWO 2021, good luck with your goals, and I hope you have fun chasing them! :D
